How to Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your derma ai account and all associated data directly from the app. This process is immediate and irreversible.
In-App Deletion (Recommended)
- Open the derma ai app
- Go to the Profile tab (bottom right)
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- Type DELETE to confirm
- Tap Delete Account to complete
Your account and all data will be permanently removed immediately.
Request Deletion by Email
If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us at:
Include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request and confirm deletion within 48 hours.
What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:
- Your profile information (name, email, skin type, concerns)
- All skin analysis photos and scan results
- Skin scores, check-in history, and progress data
- Your personalized skincare routines
- Saved products and product feedback
- Habits, achievements, and streak data
- Notification preferences and push tokens
- Subscription status (note: active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through the App Store or Google Play)
Data Retention
Account deletion is permanent and takes effect immediately. We do not retain any personal data after deletion. Anonymized, aggregated analytics data that cannot be linked to your identity may be retained.
If you have an active subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Please cancel your subscription through the App Store or Google Play Store before deleting your account to avoid further charges.
